Guy Bourgeois, AACI, P.App, CRP

President and General Manager has been appraising Real Estate since 1973, but since 1977 has restricted his practice to the appraisal of and consultancy in commercial/industrial and investment property. Mr. Bourgeois has completed appraisals on all types of commercial property and is an Expert Witness in the Court of Queens Bench, having given Appraisal evidence in high profile litigation in 4 provinces and the NWT. Mr. Bourgeois is a designated member in good standing with the Appraisal Institute of Canada and the Canadian Real Estate Association.

Jillian Bourgeois, CRA, B.Sc

Jillian obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Conservation and Sciences with Distinction from the University of Alberta in 2002. She began working for Bourgeois & Company in April of 2002 and has since received her CRA designation in December of 2004. Jillian is currently enrolled in the UBC Real Estate Division, Appraisal Institute of Canada program and continuing with the courses required for an AACI designation. Jillian is currently involved in completing residential appraisals on all types of properties including single family dwellings, multi-family developments, as well as recreational and acreage type properties within the City of Edmonton and surrounding areas. Jillian has been qualified as an expert Witness by the Court of Queen's Bench.

Jaclyn Bourgeois Senio, CRA, B.Comm

Jaclyn obtained her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta in the spring of 2001, majoring in International Business with a minor in Marketing. She has been employed with Bourgeois and Company since January 2003 and achieved her CRA designation in December 2004. Jaclyn is currently involved in completing residential reports including appraisals on all types of properties for the purpose of sale/purchases, refinancing, estate transactions, separation/division of assets, foreclosures, acreage and recreational properties in the City of Edmonton and surrounding areas. Jaclyn has been qualified as an expert Witness by the Court of Queen's Bench.

Chris Kroker, B.Comm

Chris obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta, School of Business, with a specialization in Marketing. He is currently enrolled in the UBC Real Estate Division, Appraisal Institute of Canada program, completing the required courses towards an AACI designation. Chris is a candidate member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada and a member in good standing of the Canadian Real Estate Association. A tenure with the Company commencing in September of 2003 and focusing on the research and analysis of commercial properties in and around the Edmonton area, and the facilitation of the BRADS database, has provided a solid foundation and built the experience required to move forward with his appraisal career. In June 2004, Chris took the next step in attaining his goals with Bourgeois & Company Ltd., and is now a contributing member of the Commercial Appraisal Division, having completed appraisals on various forms of commercial, industrial and investment properties.

Simon Chin, B.Comm

Simon obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta with a major in International Business and a minor in Finance. Since joining the team in July 2004, Simon has articled in both the research and residential divisions at Bourgeois & Company Ltd. He is currently involved in the commercial department, concentrating in the valuation of land, commercial, industrial and investment properties. Simon is enrolled in the UBC Real Estate Division, Appraisal Institute of Canada program and is completing the courses required for an AACI designation, which he anticipates to achieve in early 2012.

Brett Coley, AACI, P.App, B.Comm

Brett, a partner of the firm, obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with Distinction from the University of Alberta in 2005, with a major in International Business and minor in Finance. In November of 2005, Brett became a member of the Bourgeois & Company team and has since obtained a Diploma in Urban Land Economics from the University of British Columbia and subsequently, achieved the AACI, P.App. designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada. Brett has conducted appraisals and related tasks, has been involved in consulting assignments, and has provided expert opinion evidence on properties across Alberta and in Nunavut. Brett has extensive experience in all industrial, commerical, and investment real estate sectors.

Mark obtained his Bachelor of Management Degree from Athabasca University in 2008, and joined Bourgeois & Company in June of the same year. After articling within the Research and Residential Divisions, Mark now focuses on the appraisal of industrial, commercial and investment Property. Since starting with Bourgeois & Company, Mark has obtained a Certificate in Real Property Valuation from the University of British Columbia and is progressing towards obtaining a Diploma in Urban Land Economics and the AACI, P.App. designation.

Selina Chan, B.A.

Selina joined Bourgeois & Company in May 2010 as a research specialist and is currently articling in both the residential and commercial divisions. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia and is currently completing the requirements to obtain her CRA designation through the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business - Real Estate Division. She is fluent in Chinese Mandarin and Cantonese. Selina is a candidate member with the Appraisal Institute of Canada.

Royce Carey, CRA

Royce obtained his CRA designation in May of 2009. He began working for Bourgeois & Company in April of 2011. Royce is enrolled in the UBC Real Estate Division, Appraisal Institute of Canada program and is continuing with the courses required for an AACI, P.App. designation. Royce conducts current date and retrospective residential appraisals on all types of property inlcuding single family dwellings, multi-family developments, as well as, recreational and acreage properties for the purposes of sales/purchases, relocations, refinancing, estate transactions, separation/division of assets, and foreclosures. Royce has completed appraisals throughout central and northern Alberta, as well as, the Yellowknife region. Royce is fluent in English, French and spanish.

Vinicio Bazzaglia, B.Comm

Vinicio graduated with distinction from the Commerce Program at the University of Alberta in 2010. Since joining Bourgeois & Company, Vinicio has managed the research division and the BRADS database and is articling within the Residential Appraisal division. Vinicio is actively completing the Appraisal Institute of Canada’s AACI, P.App. designation educational requirements through the University of British Columbia.
