Our Team Guy Bourgeois, AACI, P.App, CRP President and General Manager has been appraising Real Estate since 1973, but since 1977 has restricted his practice to the appraisal of and consultancy in commercial/industrial and investment property. Mr. Bourgeois has completed appraisals on all types of commercial property and is an Expert Witness in the Court of Queens Bench, having given Appraisal evidence in high profile litigation in 4 provinces and the NWT. Mr. Bourgeois is a designated member in good standing with the Appraisal Institute of Canada and the Canadian Real Estate Association. Jillian Bourgeois, CRA, B.Sc, Jillian obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Conservation and Sciences with Distinction from the University of Alberta in 2002. She began working for Bourgeois & Company in April of 2002 and has since received her CRA designation in December of 2004. Jillian is currently enrolled in the UBC Real Estate Division, Appraisal Institute of Canada program and continuing with the courses required for an AACI designation. Jillian is currently involved in completing residential appraisals on all types of properties including single family dwellings, multi-family developments, as well as recreational and acreage type properties within the City of Edmonton and surrounding areas. Jillian has been qualified as an expert Witness by the Court of Queen's Bench. Brandon Lo, AACI. P.App, B.Comm, B.A,(Econ), Brandon attended the University of Alberta and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance in 2000 and a Bachelor of Arts After Degree in Economics in 2002. Brandon completed all of the requirements for the CRA designation in 2004 and received his AACI, P.App. designation in 2008. Brandon joined the Bourgeois & Company team in September 2002 and specializes in appraising commercial properties throughout the City of Edmonton and Alberta. Jaclyn Bourgeois Senio, CRA, B.Comm, Jaclyn obtained her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta in the spring of 2001, majoring in International Business with a minor in Marketing. She has been employed with Bourgeois and Company since January 2003 and achieved her CRA designation in December 2004. Jaclyn is currently involved in completing residential reports including appraisals on all types of properties for the purpose of sale/purchases, refinancing, estate transactions, separation/division of assets, foreclosures, acreage and recreational properties in the City of Edmonton and surrounding areas. Jaclyn has been qualified as an expert Witness by the Court of Queen's Bench. Chris Kroker, B.Comm Chris obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta, School of Business, with a specialization in Marketing. He is currently enrolled in the UBC Real Estate Division, Appraisal Institute of Canada program, completing the required courses towards an AACI designation. Chris is a candidate member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada and a member in good standing of the Canadian Real Estate Association. A tenure with the Company commencing in September of 2003 and focusing on the research and analysis of commercial properties in and around the Edmonton area, and the facilitation of the BRADS database, has provided a solid foundation and built the experience required to move forward with his appraisal career. In June 2004, Chris took the next step in attaining his goals with Bourgeois & Company Ltd., and is now a contributing member of the Commercial Appraisal Division, having completed appraisals on various forms of commercial, industrial and investment properties. Simon Chin, B.Comm Simon obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta with a major in International Business and a minor in Finance. Since joining the team in July 2004, Simon has articled in both the research and residential divisions at Bourgeois & Company Ltd. He is currently involved in the commercial department, concentrating in the valuation of land, commercial, industrial and investment properties. Simon is enrolled in the UBC Real Estate Division, Appraisal Institute of Canada program and is completing the courses required for an AACI designation, which he anticipates to achieve in 2008/2009. Brett L. Coley, B.Comm Brett obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with Distinction from the University of Alberta, with a major in International Business and minor in Finance. Prior to pursuing a career in the real estate industry, Brett worked as a Marketing Assistant developing and implementing advertising plans. Brett became part of the Bourgeois & Company Ltd. team in November of 2005 and is currently enrolled in the UBC Real Estate Division, Appraisal Institute of Canada Program, completing courses required to obtain the AACI designation. After gaining valuable experience in both the Research and Residential Departments, Brett is now articling as a Commercial Consultant & Appraiser. Devin R. Palmer, B.Comm Devin obtained his Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta in 2006 with a major in finance and a minor in human resources. He joined Bourgeois & Company in November 2006 and has completed tenure in both the research and residential departments. Devin is a canidate member with the Appraisal Institute of Canada and is completing the courses required for an AACI designation. Currently, Devin is working in the Commercial Appraisal Division, and has completed appraisals on various forms of commercial, industrial and investment properties. Mark W. Poechman, B.Mgmt Mark obtained his Bachelor of Management Degree from Athabasca University in 2008. He joined Bourgeois & Company in June of 2008 and currently maintains the online research database. Presently enrolled at the Sauder School of Business within the University of British Columbia, Mark is completing the educational requirements for the AACI. P.App. designation. Marc Tralnberg Marc’s real estate knowledge and experience began with the ownership of single family residential investment properties and progressed to the ownership of multifamily residential investment properties. His real estate experience includes a working knowledge of building mechanical systems, the super structure and the building envelope, experience that was gained through hands on construction experience; as well as, education obtained through Carson & Dunlop Consulting Engineers. Marc is currently enrolled within the final course required to obtain the CRA designation, the Appraisal Institute of Canada’s Demonstration Appraisal. Marc began completing residential appraisal reports within the City of Edmonton, the surrounding communities and Counties, in 2007, appraisals that have included residential new construction, vacant land, purchases and sales, refinancing, divorce, foreclosure, corporate/private relocation, estate settlements, as well as acreage and recreational properties. Kevin Tam, B.Comm Kevin obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta with a specialization in Finance. His coursework concentrated mainly on financial valuation, business statistics, and management information systems. Kevin joined the team in November 2009 and works in the Research division. He is currently enrolled in the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business Real Estate Division, and working towards his AACI designation. |
